This has been a wonderful saddle for me through the years. Its still in fantastic condition and super super comfortable to ride in. It unfortunately just does not fit my gelding anymore as he has gotten older and now has a sway back. It ideally fits a thicker warmblood or thoroughbred with a rounder back. It doesn fit horses that have super high withers and narrow backs. The panels are made of grated calf, and the seat is just normal calf. The seat is the only are where the saddle is a little discolored but otherwise its in fantastic condition. I am 57 and have been riding in the saddle since i was 14 and it has always fit my leg length perfectly as well as the seat.
